Grace Evangelical Church held its first service in the Madison area on November 14, 1998. In December 2003, 17 acres were purchased on Buckeye Road. On Sunday, October 3, 2004, ground was broken for our new building, and on Sunday, June 19, 2005, our new building was dedicated to the Lord.

“Evangelical” means that our commitment is to the authority of the Bible as our only trustworthy and sufficient basis for faith and practice, and that we make known Jesus Christ as the answer to one’s basic need to have a personal relationship with the true, living, personal, and eternal biblical God.

We are independent, meaning we govern our own church life under Christ’s authority as Head of the church. We are not affiliated with any organization or denomination. We depend on the active participation of our leadership and members for ministry to one another and to the community.
